Mainlandgate
is a Guyana registered business entity, owned by Abdool Fazal
Gafoor, with business relations in Canada and Trinidad and Tobago.
Before venturing into the beauty industry, Abdool was a Japanese
auto and spare parts trader, operating out of Georgetown, Guyana
(Universal Parts).
Today, the primary business of Mainlandgate is the supply of
beauty products and airbrushing equipment to the Caribbean.
Callus Buster, one of their top beauty products has become a
household word in the Caribbean beauty industry.
Prior, to the setting up of shop in Guyana, selling vehicles
and spares, Abdool Gafoor had lived in the US from 1981 to 1988,
working at Almar Sales, 34th Street, New York. His educational
background includes Annandale Secondary School, E.C.D and Queen's
College, Georgetown, Guyana. Abdool had also worked briefly
with The Bank of Baroda, Regent Street and Avenue of the Republic,
Georgetown, Guyana.
According to Abdool, life is a real challenge, and there are
many stories of successes and failures, but the bottom line
is that one must never give up. Besides servicing the beauty
industry of the Caribbean, Mainlandgate is vigorously pursuing
technologies and is willing to offer its service in the field
of web designing and e-commerce. |
